This series keeps getting better and better. Seriously. It’s way more mature than in the first two books.
It’s a review about book 4 in a series. It will spoil you if you haven’t read the previous ones.

Camp Half-blood know that soon Luke will attack them.
Thanks to the Maze (a big labyrinth running underneath the earth, where time and reality are different), if he finds the right entrance, he will be able to invade the camp.
This time, it’s Annabeth’s turn to lead a quest to find Daedalus, the maze’s creator. It’s her time to shine. But she doesn’t seem so bright anymore.
The prophecy she heard seems to worry her a lot.

Percy’s world is so witty, so funny. It’s got that particular touch of humor that I affectionate. I’ll talk about it more in the review for the last book.

There are so many plot twists in this book that I wasn’t expecting. Coming from a middle grade book, that’s impressive.

There is so much character’s development in this one.
– Annabeth is wiser. And it seems that she’s developping feelings for Percy.
– Grover is growing up during the book. He is becoming more mature, more responsible.
– Nico let go of his anger toward Percy. He is no longer a child and is learning to live with his legacy. Being Hades son must not be an easy thing.
-Tyson is growing up too. He was disappointed by one of his role model, but managed to change it all.

Rachel has a bigger role in this book. I’m curious to see if she’ll be in the next one. She’s an interesting character and I would like to read more about her.

Now, the final battle is close. How will the posse deal with it ?

People are more difficult to work with than machines. And when you break a person, he can’t be fixed.
