Hello lovelies ! How are you ? I can’t believe July is over already ! It’s been a crazy month, for me ! I finally found the most perfect apartment to buy hence a lot of appointments ! I also worked more  hours to cover for a coworker. Which means I haven’t been able to read as much as I would have liked to !

I read a total of 5 books, 4 physical copies and one e book.

  • Heir Of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. I LOVED it ! The beginning was a little too slow but it was a necessity, in my opinion. I gave it 5 stars !
  • After by Anna Todd. Well this book surprised me, in a really good way ! I gave it 4 stars !
  • This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. One of my most anticipated releases for 2016 ! I really liked it ! 5 stars !
  • Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. I wanted to keep CoHo’s books in case of reading slumps. But I can’t resist anymore, I need to read all of her books ! I really enjoyed that one ! I still need to write my review but I can tell you this one is a 5 stars !

E book

  • Lover Eternal by J. R. Ward, which is the second book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood. It’s an addictive read ! I also need to write my review for that one. I will probably give it 4 stars !

I also started the third book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series called Lover Awakened ! And I also kept reading Days Of Throbbing Gristle by Kevin Cole.

That’s all ! I had such a great reading month ! What about you ? what have you read in July ?

  1. I managed to read 10 books this July! Actually surprised. I binge read Mara Dyer series, two of ToG books, The Light Fantastic by Sarah Combs, Jenny Han’s P.S.I Still Love You, The Many by Nathan Field, This Savage Song as well, Ink and Bone by Lisa Unger. A lot of them were good but a few did not leave a very good impression 😦

    1. hahaha here is the synopsis : Does Heaven know you’re miserable now?

It’s 1987. Sam Henry Hay, a 17-year-old exchange student from Sheffield, hops into Texas, USA, with one burning ambition: Manipulate his gullible host parents into funding his university, and leave his dead-end life in Yorkshire behind.

But is Sam manipulating America or America manipulating Sam? The clever lad schmoozes his way into many a bed and purse, yet can’t get rid of anyone. He executes careful plans, only to watch them disastrously fall apart. Worst of all, this once proud nihilist watches in horror as he reveals a conscience, in a world growing ever darker around him.

Days of Throbbing Gristle is not your typical teenage tale. It’s a razor-slashing journey through a time and place that really was as bad as you’ve heard. For some, high school is the best time in their lives. For others, it’s a miracle they make it to the other side.
