top-ten-tuesdayHello lovelies ! It’s that time of the week again ! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish !
This week’s topic is all about love. I decided to make my top ten favorite slow-burn romances !!

Just a quick warning, this post contains spoilers if you haven’t read the books pictured below !  So if you recognize a book you haven’t read and want to, you should skip reading that post !

So, in no particular order :

The DarkFever series by Karen Marie Moning is a perfect example of a slow-burn romance ! Mackayla and Barrons’ relationship is slowly changing from hate to trust, to lust and then to love. Such a beautiful relationship and a wonderful series !
In the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead, Sydrian is far from being an instalove ! I loved witnessing their relationship evolve !
In the Islanders series by Katherine Applegate, there’s a relationship that is based on pure love and total trust and that has been built slowly : Nina and Ben.

In the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling, there’s Hermione and Ron. Ah, how could I write this post without them ?!
In the Six Of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo, there’s one relationship that keeps growing and growing : Kaz and Inej. These two took their freaking time but it was worth it !
When I started Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, I thought I would read a typical romance, an instalove, a love at first sight. How wrong I was ! Lou and Will relationship started in a wrong way. Will was hating Lou. Witnessing how they got to know each other and slowly but surely fell in love, it was precious !

There’s also The Selection trilogy by Kiera Cass, that I read a while ago. If Maxon made America one of his favorite in the selection, their relationship grew a lot through the three books.
Aristotle And Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz is a unique read. I really enjoyed that one !
Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell is another perfect example of a slow-burn romance ! Another book I really enjoyed ! I still need to post my review for that one !

That’s it ! What are your favorite slow-burn romances ?
