Alright guys ! I have meant to write this post for the last 3 weeks … Yeah yeah I know !
This is the first post in a new category called bookish places in which I will show you awesome places that are book related.

Book In Bar

First of all, I want to thanks the owner and her team for letting me and my father take these pictures ! We bothered them twice in a day since we have forgotten the memory card at home…

Book In Bar first opened on September 12th 2001 in Aix en Provence, France.

This is a lovely place where you can buy books written in English/Spanish/other languages. Maybe it looks like the most common thing to you but trust me, it’s not something you find easily, in the South of France.

The team is really nice and you can tell they are really passionate about their work ! They’re not just booksellers, but book lovers, too.

They organize book clubs and other great events all year long.

You can find pretty nooks or tables where you can read while enjoying a hot beverage and a tasty pastry.
Oh I haven’t mentioned it yet ? Well yes this is also why I love this place. They make great tea and other beverages and their pastries are just delightful.

From Harper Lee’s last book to the newest Sarah J. Maas, Book In Bar offers a really large choice of books.

I really love this place and every time I go to Aix en Provence, I always end up there.
So if you’re living near Aix or just there for a few days, this is a place you don’t want to miss !
