MY FAVORITE READS FOR THE FIRST PART OF 2018

Hello lovelies ! I can’t wait for my week end to begin ! Today I’m gonna talk about my favorite reads for the first part of 2018 ! I know I’m posting it kind of late, but I decided to talk about my favorite reads from January to June.

Let’s start, shall we ? So, in no particular order :

• Les Illusions De Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton. It’s the sequel to one of my favorite reads for 2017 ! I really loved it ! I still need to write my review though.
• Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It was such a good surprise even though I had a hard time with the 100 first pages.
• La Main De L’Empereur by Olivier Gay. I can’t wait to read the sequel !
• A Court Of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J.Maas. Just because I was so happy to read about Feyre and Rhysand again !
• The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. It’s one of my most
• anticipated releases for 2018 and I wasn’t disappointed at all !
• Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor. She’s one of my favorite authors and I need to read its sequel ASAP !

| WRAP UP & TBR | JUNE 2018 WRAP UP

Hello lovelies ! it’s time for my June wrap up. And let’s be honest… I haven’t read that much this month. Ahem. I haven’t blogged seriously neither…

Anyway ! I finished one book and a manga ! Yep that’s all hahaha !

• Les Illusions De Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton. I LOVED it ! 5 stars.
• Nana vol. 3. I am rereading this manga and I really love it ! 4.5 stars.

 

That’s it ! As I said … I haven’t read that much haha but what I read I absolutely loved !

| WRAP UP & TBR | JUNE 2018 TBR

Hello lovelies ! I’m a little late to the party but here is my June TBR.  I plan on reading 3 books this month.

• Les Illusions de Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton that I’m currently reading.
• Champion by Marie Lu, the last book in the Legend trilogy. I really enjoyed the previous books so I’m really eager to see how this trilogy ends.
• Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. It’s more than time for me to start this series !

I am currently reading A Court Of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I am really loving it so far !! It’s one of my most anticipated releases for 2018 and I am so glad that I can finally read that book !

Last week I was reading The Spring Girls by Anna Todd. A bit slow but I enjoyed it nonetheless !

Next I plan on reading Les Illusions De Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton ! I read L’Héritage Des Rois Passeurs last year and it was one of my top 5 reads !

Hello lovelies !  It’s time for me to share my May TBR with you guys ! I plan on reading 5 books this month ! Yeah, I know, there are only 4 on the pictures, but I’m waiting for the fifth one to be delivered !

• Prodigy by Marie Lu. I read Legend at the end of April and I plan on marathoning this trilogy !
• Champion by Marie Lu, the last and final book in the Legend trilogy.

• A Court Of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. I am still waiting for my copy to be delivered. But I know I won’t resist reading it as soon as I get my hands on it !

• The Spring Girls by Anna Todd ! I’ve been eyeing this book since I got it in January !
• Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It’s my next read for sure ! The movie is released this week and I need to read it before watching the movie !
• The Cruel Prince by Holly Black ! I can’t wait to read that one !
• Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. I’ve recently bought that one but I have been wanting to start this series for years now !

• Les Illusions De Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton. I read L’Héritier Des Rois Passeurs last year and I LOVED it !
• Legend by Marie Lu. I want to read Marie Lu’s books and I own this trilogy. I heard so many great things about it !
• Crystal Storm by Morgan Rhodes. I need to dive back into that world !

 That’s it ! It’s top 7 but there are new releases that will be added and other books that I plan on buying !

• The whole Harry Potter series, obviously !!!
• A Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. This trilogy guys !!!
• The Shades Of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab. And to think that Victoria will be at the Salon Du Livre in Paris in a few weeks and that I won’t be able to go…. aaaarg !
• All the Shadowhunters books ! Cassandra Clare has built a wonderful world.

• Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. One of my favorite romance books !
• The After series by Anna Todd. WhenI started reading this series, I wasn’t expecting this hell of a ride !!
• A French series called Le Pacte Des Marchombres by Pierre Bottero. Imagine a mix between Celaena Sardothien, Rose Hathaway and Vin and you get a hint of that amazing MC !
• L’Héritage Des Rois Passeurs by Manon Fargetton. One of my favorite reads of 2017  and I know for sure that I’m gonna reread this book often !

| BOOK HAUL | MY DECEMBER 2017 BOOK HAUL PART 2

Hello lovelies ! It’s time for the second part of my shameful December book haul. Today I’m gonna show you my SLPJ book haul. Which means, all these books are written in French ! You can find the first part of my haul here !

Let’s start, shall we ?

• L’Héritage Des Rois Passeurs by Manon Fargetton. I read it on my kindle back in Summer and absolutely LOVED it ! I had to buy a physical copy !
• Les Epées de Glace by Olivier Gay. I got that one for my father as a Christmas gift.
• La Main De L’Empereur by Olivier gay.
• Marie Et Bronia by Natacha Henry. This one is an impulse buy, I hope to read it soon !
• Le Pacte d’Emma by Nine Gorman, a French booktuber. I read it and really liked it !
• Les Illusions De Sav-Loar by Manon Fargetton. That one I really can’t wait to read !
• Le Cycle Des Démons by Peter V. Brett, or The Warded Man, the first book in the Demon Cycle ! That one I got for free !

| BOOKISH EVENT | LE SALON DU LIVRE ET DE LA PRESSE JEUNESSE 2017

Hello lovelies ! At the beginning of last month I went to a bookish fair. It’s called Le Salon Du Livre Et De La Presse Jeunesse. I went with a friend and one of her friends, but I also met amazing people there !

I knoooow, it took me a whole month to write this post ! But it’s kind of complicated, you know ? Anyway, here’s my recap !

• Friday December 1st

I met two authors during their autograph sessions : Nine Gorman , a French booktuber who published her first book earlier this year and Manon Fargetton, another French author. There were both super nice !  I bought 3 books that day and we visited the whole fair. It was crowded, mainly with children since it was a free entrance day, it was a perfect school trip. Anyway, the event was so HUGE ! There were a lot of publishers, a lot I didn’t know at all. I spent a lot of time at Bragelonne’s stand but also on Albin Michel’s and Robert Laffont’s. I met Crouton from Palace Of Books. He’s a booktuber and we crossed paths multiple times during this fair ! I also got to meet Lyne from LyneObsessions again.

• Saturday December 2nd

Another day, but same plan. Again, I mainly stayed at Bragelonne’s haha ! I bought 3 books and got one for free. I went to 2 autograph sessions : Manon Fargetton (yes, twice in 2 days haha) and Olivier Gay. I was finally able to meet Cindy from Just_cindyb ! We’ve been talking on twitter for years now but we never met ! I also met Treky. He’s another French booktuber and guess what ? We talked about books haha !

I was so glad to meet fellow booklovers ! It’s probably what I enjoyed the most ! I really had an amazing time !
