| WRAP UP & TBR | APRIL 2018 WRAP UP

Hello lovelies ! It’s unbelievable how time flies, right ?! I can’t believe it’s already May !

During April, I finished a total of 4 books. I’m pretty happy with how my reading month turned out. But let’s be honest, it’s only because I hurt my ankle and got to stay home for a while.

• Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I had to admit, it took me a little more than 100 pages to actually like it and really get into the story ! Nevertheless, it was an awesome read ! Now I can watch the movie haha ! 5 stars.
• The Fire by Brittainy C. Cherry. A romance book, to change my mind a little. 3.5 Stars.
• The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. Ah. One of my most anticipated releases for 2018 and well it didn’t disappoint ! 5 stars !
• Legend by Marie Lu. It’s my first Lu’s book and I really enjoyed it. I finished it yesterday so I haven’t made up my mind yet for the rating !

I only published one review this month. Empire Of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. (link here). I also posted a discussion post about rereading books (you can find it here).This month I also posted my review for Fantastic Beasts, the movie. I hadn’t posted an On Screen post for a while. (here)

That’s it ! I hope to blog more in May, to publish more reviews at least !

I am currently reading Legend by Marie Lu. I’m only a few pages in though. It’s my first Marie Lu’s book. I heard so many great things about her work !
Last week, I was reading The Fire by Brittainy C. Cherry. I really enjoyed it but I was expecting something more. Nonetheless, it was a nice read, a cute romance book. I gave it 3.5 stars.
Next, I plan on reading The Spring Girls by Anna Todd.

I am curently reading The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I’m LOVING it so far ! It’s so addicting !

Last week (or earlier this week), I was reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It took me around 100 pages to actually dive properly into this book but once in… Oh boy ! I gave it 5 stars !

Next, I plan on reading The Fire by Brittainy C. Cherry or The Spring Girls by Anna Todd. I need a change haha ! A romance or contemporary book will be a good pick !

Oyé Oyé braves gens ! Just kidding, I’m letting go of my native French for now haha ! Hello lovelies ! How are you ? I hope you’re all having a wonderful Easter week end if you’re celebrating and if you’re not, I hope you’re having a great week end !

Anyway, back to business ! This month I plan on reading 5 books this month !

• Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I’m already reading this one ! I really REALLY want to finish it before going to the cinema for the movie.
• The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. Ah, I really can’t wait to read that one ! It’s one of my mostanticipated releases for 2018 !
• The Fire by Brittainy C. Cherry. I decided to read a book written in French per month. Well, at least one ! This is my pick for April !
• The Spring Girls by Anna Todd. It’s another one of my most anticipated releases for 2018 so I’m really eager to read that one
• Legend by Marie Lu. I really need to discover her univer, her writing style and I decided to start with this trilogy !

| BOOK HAUL | MY APRIL 2017 BOOK HAUL

 

Hello everyone ! How is your week so far ? Mine started pretty good ! Anyway, I’m here to show you my April book haul !

As you can see on the picture above, I got 3 books in the month of April !

• A Conjuring Of Light by V.E. Schwab, the final book in the Shades Of Magic trilogy. FINALLY. I pre ordered it and it took 2 freaking month to arrive… It got lost one time and the second time around, it took longer than usual to be delivered… Thank you French post !
• The Beauty And The Beast by Gabrielle Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve. It’s a special illustrated edition, with amazing content inside ! I may write a post about its content. We shall see.
• The Fire (The Fire Between High And Lo) by Brittainy C. Cherry. It’s the second book in her Elements series. And yeah, I bought the French edition !

That’s it ! As you can see, I have been really reasonable !Have you read any of these books ?
