| MEMES | TOP TEN TUESDAY – TOP TEN BOOKS I LOVED BUT WILL NEVER REREAD

TOP TEN TUESDAY

Hello lovelies ! It’s tuesday which means … Top Ten Tuesday time ! TTT is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Today’s theme is top ten books I loved but will never reread ! Even though you know… Never say never !

  • Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I reread this probably three times but haven’t for at least more than 5 years. I loved it so much but I matured a lot so I’m not sure I would enjoy it as much as I did in the past.
  • The Revenants trilogy by Amy Plum. I loved it too but will probably never reread it.
  • Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Same reason !
  • Bloodlines, the vampire Academy’s spin off also by Richelle Mead.
  • Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I really enjoyed this series when I read it many years ago. But I’m way more picky when it comes to dystopia because I’ve read so many.
  • Anna And The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I already reread it and its companion novels but I think it’s too cheesy for me now !
  • The Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Same reasons than for Vampire Academy.

That’s it ! It’s just a top 7 this week ! I enjoy rereading books so … there are only a few on my shelves that I don’t plan on rereading.

| MEMES | TOP TEN TUESDAY – TOP TEN SERIES I WISH HAD MORE BOOKS

top-ten-tuesday

Hello lovelies ! It’s time for another TTT ! It’s a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish.

Today’s theme is Top Ten Series I Wish had more books.

Most of these series have great endings but I love them so much I wish it would keep going on !

The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare is my favorite trilogy. I miss Jem, Will and Tessa so badly ! Even though we get to “see” glimpses of some of the TID characters in her other series, I wish The Infernal Devices had more books.

The Six Of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo is just amazing !!!! But two books… ah, it’s  too short !

The Archived by Victoria Schwab is for now a duology. But I know the author still hopes to be able to publish a third book. I hope she’ll manage it !

The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. Because I need more Harry Potter stories in my life !

The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, and its spin off series, Bloodlines. I love this universe so much and I’m so sad I finished reading all the books from these two amazing series !

The Islanders by Katherine Applegate. I read this series when I was a teen and I felt like I was living among these beautiful characters, on Chatham Island !

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning. I flew through this series !

Bridget Jones series, by Helen Field. I love this character so much and I wish I could read more about her story and her mishaps !

The Rusk University by Cora Carmack. I know she’s writing the fourth one and I can’t read to get my hands on it !

That’s it ! What’s on your TTT this week ?

| MEMES | TOP TEN TUESDAY – TOP TEN FAVORITE VILLAINS IN BOOKS

top-ten-tuesday

Hello lovelies ! It’s that time again ! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish !

This week’s theme is : top ten favorite villains !

Beware this post contains spoilers, so if you haven’t read the books featured on the pictures, maybe skip this post !

The first six villains are the ones that I really like and can’t manage to hate haha ! First is obviously The Darkling from The Grisha trilogy ! It’s such a complex character, he is dark, twisted and yet I can’t help but really like him. There’s also Sebastian Morgensten from The Mortal Instruments series. This guy is pure evil but yet … There’s also Blake from the Lux series, even though he is less appealing than the two previous ones !

Holland from the Shades Of Magic series is another perfect example ! There’s also Dimitri from the Vampire Academy series, when he is a strigoï. And finally, Seth from the Covenant series when he is driven by his need of power.

These 6 villains I can’t help but love them or care deeply for them ! Now for the following ones, it’s different : I love to hate them ! The perfect villains you want to strangle personally, you know ?

In no particular order : Thiago from the Daughter Of Smoke And Bone series, The Commandand from An Ember In The Ashes, the King Of Adarlan from Throne Of Glass series and finally Voldemort from Harry Potter ! These 4 villains are creepy and have such a twisted mind !

That’s it ! Tell me about your favorite villains !

| MEMES | TOP TEN TUESDAY – TOP 10 THINGS BOOKS HAVE MADE ME WANT TO DO

TOP TEN TUESDAYHello lovelies ! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday. TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish !
Today’s topic is : Top Ten Things Books Have Made Me Want To Do or Learn About After Reading Them.

Half-Blood and Vampire Academy made me want to learn how to fight. I really would have liked to be as badass as Rose or Alex !

These 2 books made me realize that life is short and that we have to live boldly. That our physical flaws aren’t what is defining us !

And now for the absolutely not realistic ones :

Everytime I read a good book I can’t help dreaming that I’m living in the book’s world : a wizard one, one where shadowhunters are protecting mundanes, one where multiple London exist, one where demons and angels are living !

And that’s it ! My top ten is a top eight this week haha ! Link me your TTT !

| BOOK REVIEW | BLOODLINES BY RICHELLE MEAD

bloodlinesBloodlines
Author : Richelle Mead
Series : Bloodlines
Genres : fantasy, young adult

I was so happy to read about the Vampire Academy universe again !
This book is really good. The change of point of view (having Sydney’s instead of Rose’s) was a little strange to me at the beginning but finally it’s easy to identify to her. It’s nice to discover more about the Alchemists.
Sydney’s childhood is a hard one. She was told that vampires, Dhampirs are monsters that should not exist. An abomination. Yet, she can’t help herself but care for them. She can go beyond her belief, all these years of despising them and she even enjoy spending time with them. That’s something really interesting.
She cares for her little sister Jill, for her dhampir Eddie, and even for Adrian, which wasn’t obvious at the beginning.

As always, Richelle Mead did a really great job ! I can’t wait to read the next book !
A must read if you like vampires stories ! But you should definitively read The Vampire Academy series first.

5 starsI read this book during July last year. So this is a pretty lame review, I know. But since I haven’t finished reading this series yet, I’m gonna upload my goodreads reviews for those I’ve already read.
